PG Medical Admission 2012-13
Applications are invited for admissions to various
Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses in the following Medical Colleges
for 2012-13

Candidates should be qualified either in the PG
Medical entrance test conducted by the Commissioner for entrance examination,
Govt of Kerala or in the All India PG Medical entrance test
Duration: As per the MCI Postgraduate Medical
Education Regulations, 2000, 10 (1) & (3),the duration of the course
including University Examination is 3 years in the case of Degree Courses and 2
years in the case of Diploma Courses
There shall be an exemption of one year in the
duration of PG degree courses in respect of candidates who have done PG Diploma
course of two years and awarded Diploma in the same subject
The candidates must have acquired the PG
Diploma pass certificate on or before 30th April, 2012 for being eligible for
reduction in the duration of the course
No other reduction in the duration of the course shall
be granted
The date of commencement of the course
and the last date of completion of admission process will be as per the time
schedule fixed by the Govt of India/Medical Council of India/Supreme Court of
India
Eligibility
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of
India/children or dependents of Non Resident Indians
Academic: Applicants should have passed the MBBS
degree from any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other University
recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent thereto
with eligibility for full registration in respect of all courses
Applicants who have completed the
compulsory rotating resident Internship (CRRI) on or before 31st March, 2012
are eligible to apply; but admission to the candidates will be given only after
obtaining registration of TC Medical Council
Applicants must meet all the requirements that may be
stipulated by MCI and Kerala University of Health Sciences, from time to time
In the case of an Indian national with the recognized
degree from Foreign University, the Medical Council of India may, on payment of
the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary/permanent registration
for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the
college/institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being
exclusively for Post Graduate studies
Temporary/Permanent registration to such
candidates shall be subject to the condition that the degree is duly registered
in the country where the degree is obtained and is recognized by the
corresponding Council or concerned authority in India also
No condonation of internship (CRRI) will be accepted
How to apply: The prospectus along with
application forms for Post Graduate Medical Courses can be obtained from any of
the four member colleges on payment of Rs 1000/- (Rs one thousand only) by demand
draft drawn in favour of the Kerala Christian Professional College Managements
Federation (KCPCMF) payable at Ernakulam
The application form can also be downloaded from the
website of the Federation www.kcpcmf.in or can be submitted
online
Application Submission: Completed
application should be submitted to any one of the Colleges and not to the
Office of the Federation
This should be submitted before 03.00 p.m. on 30th
April, 2012
Application can be submitted using the form available
along with the prospectus
The application can be submitted online on the website
of the Federation www.kcpcmf.in
A print out of the online application
with copies of required documents affixing the photograph and signature shall
be submitted along with a demand draft for Rs 1000/- (Rs one thousand only)
drawn in favour of KCPCMF payable at Ernakulam to any one of the member
colleges
The application and prospectus can be downloaded from
the website of the Federation
The filled in downloaded application along with copies
of documents and demand draft for Rs 1000/- (Rs one thousand only) drawn in
favour of KCPCMF payable at Ernakulam shall be submitted to any one of the
member colleges
Applicants shall obtain acknowledgement
from the college office for the applications submitted in person at the
respective College
Since the application forms are available from the
website, the same will not be sent to candidates by post, but completed
applications can be submitted by Regd Post/Speed post with A/D, so as to reach
any of the colleges before the last date notified for the receipt of the same
The federation will not be responsible for any delayed
delivery
Applications submitted should be complete in all
respects
Incomplete applications will stand rejected
The candidate should fill in all the items in the
application form in his/her own handwriting
Method of Selection: Admissions will be
made from the first rank list of the candidates who have qualified in the
Kerala Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination 2012
If there are remaining vacancies, the
second rank list of candidates qualified in the All India Post Graduate Medical
Entrance Examination will be considered for admission in the order of merit
